HEAL GROW THRIVE
A Virtual Therapy Studio
Therapy for women Navigating Burnout, Identity Shifts & Life Transitions
Hello, I’m LaChrissa! – Pronounced (luh-CRISS-uh)
Thank you for visiting! I am a licensed therapist, and founder of Heal Grow Thrive, a virtual therapy studio. I operate under the professional supervision of Kiki McCray, LPC-S.
At Heal Grow Thrive, I prioritize offering my clients a wealth of empathy, patience, and acceptance. My mission is to provide two essential elements of the healing journey: hope and perspective. I perceive every experience as a chance for growth and excel at finding tranquility amid chaos.
Many women come to therapy feeling emotionally exhausted after years of caring for other, managing responsibilities, and holding everything together. On the outside, they may appear capable and high functioning, but internally they feel disconnected, overwhelmed, or unsure of who they are in this stage of life. After completing my education as a Mental Health Counselor, I pursued a passion where I owned & operated a successful salon. During my time “behind the chair”, I spent nearly a decade listening closely to women’s stories during moments of vulnerability, transition and change. That experience lives with me and it deeply informs my work as a therapist today. It taught me how to create safety, build trust, and meet women exactly where they are.
My approach is rooted in creating a safe, compassionate environment where individuals feel acknowledged, understood, and supported. Patience, warmth, and empathy form the cornerstone from which I build strong, trusting relationships with each person I work with. I am wholeheartedly dedicated to delivering care that is both genuine and accepting. Our collaboration will support emotional regulation, self-trust, and sustainable personal growth.
I believe that healing occurs not only through processing challenging moments but also by recognizing your strengths, nurturing your resilience, and exploring new possibilities for your life. My aim is for you to leave each session feeling listened to, supported, and equipped with practical strategies that draw you closer to the life and relationships you envision.
It is a privilege to accompany you on your HEAL GROW THRIVE journey, and I am here to support you in a compassionate, gentle, and affirming manner.

Who I work with
I primarily work with adult women who are:
Experiencing emotional overload, or chronic stress
Navigating identity changes related to motherhood, career shifts, or life transitions
Struggling with self-worth, people-pleasing, or guilt around prioritizing themselves
Feeling disconnected from their emotions or unsure how to reconnect with themselves
Many of my clients are in transition and seeking clarity, balance, and emotional relief without judgement or pressure.
My Approach
My approach is relational, strengths-based, and grounded in creating emotional safety. I believe therapy is most effective when clients feel un-rushed, respected, and genuinely understood
Together we focus on:
Rebuilding a sense of identity that fits your current season of life
Developing emotional awareness and regulation
Strengthening boundaries and self-trust
Creating sustainable change that supports both mental health & daily life.
Therapy with me is thoughtful, collaborative, and paced to support long-term well-being.
What to Expect
Clients often describe our work together as grounding, supportive, and clarifying. This is a space where you don’t have to perform, minimize your needs or have everything figured out. We move at a pace that honors your nervous system and your goals.
Counseling Services
Individual Therapy
Life comes with challenges, but you don’t have to face them alone. Therapy provides a safe and supportive space to navigate life’s struggles, gain insight, and develop the skills to create lasting change.
Counseling interventions may be brief or long-term, depending on your needs. They are often problem-specific and goal-directed, guided by a philosophy that values individual differences, diversity, and a focus on prevention, development, and adjustment across all stages of life. (Society of Counseling Psychology, 2017).
If you’re ready to take the next step, I would be honored to walk beside you and create meaningful change.
